Bentonville, Arkansas

New Home Cemetery is located in rural Northwest Arkansas. It is right beside New Home Church. While it is an old looking church and cemetery, it still appears to be active. The cemetery is fairly small and dates back to the mid 1800s.

As I've mentioned before, this part of Arkansas is one of the fastest growing areas in the country. Wal-Mart's corporate HQ is in Bentonville, and every company that supplies products (or wants to for that matter) is relocating people from their companies to the area. That being said, even though this is a rural area, there is a housing development right next door to this church and cemetery that is currently being populated. I checked a flier for one of the homes for sale and it was listed just under $400,000.

I don't know any details about the cemetery, as I don't live here. I just tend to visit cemeteries in the evenings when I'm in Bentonville on business. They are great places to go hiking/walking after dinner and get a little outdoor exercise.
