Greenwood Cemetery is home to a number of Dallas mayors, sheriffs, and other notables. It was also a predominant white Anglo-Saxon protestant cemetery. Even the pauper's row was restricted to those in that ethnic group. Greenwood is huge. Also, it is the only one of the four cemeteries discussed here that closes it's gates each day. The others remain open all the time from what I can tell.
