I was actually on the wall above this grave and have edited myself out, so the brick wall may look a little odd.
A very interesting thing about these vaults that run along the wall... many of them had crumbled along the stone seams and you could look down into the vaults and see the caskets on the shelves. They may have been repaired in the 15 years since I was there. If you're a fan of Edgar Poe's work, you can begin to feel the hair raise on your neck when you read "The Premature Burial" and think about the vaults along this cemetery.
